fell to Godoy Cruz River at the Monumental, by 2 to 1 and thus the Millionaire set did not take the fall of Vélez, against Quilmes, to recover the tip. The goals were scored by Maidana for García and Banda and Donda Zelmar for Tomba.
The eleventh meeting of the date of the Torneo Clausura, River showed two faces: one during the first half and quite another in the second half.
In the first 45 minutes managed Jota Jota all actions in the game and looked with great patience as usual. Tried from the foot of Lamela and Buonanotte but clearly did not come until a completed Maidana courage in your own goal, before the close of the half.
At halftime Millonarios footballers learned that Velez had lost and this certainly came out to play the second half. The fans also got pressure from the stands with the "to be a champion, must win today."
With things like this, Loustau started the second 45 minutes and thereafter was a River asleep, timid and hesitant. So much so that after 2 minutes Godoy Cruz became equal after a cross past that seemed not to take risk. With the tie, the Tomba back as it had in the first stage and River had to start again. By dint of assaults intended to go, but never clearly. Jota Jota Caruso sent instead to give more Buonanotte Pavone company. The change did not revenue even though there were a couple of arrivals in a move desafortudada and undeservedly, Godoy Cruz took advantage on the scoreboard: free kick from 50 meters run by freshman Donda, was deflected just over the head of a player and a Millionaire Carrizo was powerless. Unexpectedly and unwillingly took all three points Mendoza gold Monumental.
The impression left is that this meeting weighed River will be responsible for closing pointer, if he won. The players and coaching staff already made clear, this team is for something else.
